March 7 - April 2: Bottoms Up! A history of drink in Canada, Steam Whistle Brewing, 255 Bremner Blvd. (just south of the CN Tower), Toronto ON. This latest gallery was created by students from the University of Toronto's Museum Studies program. Open to the public Monday to Saturday 12 pm - 6 pm and Sunday 12 pm - 5 pm. April 14: Washington’s 10th Anniversary "Celebration of Taste", Bell Harbor International Conference Center, 211 Alaskan Way, Seattle, WA. April 19: Canadian Club of Halton Peel presents Jim Warren - Niagara Wines: From Terroir to Tetrapack, Oakville Conference Centre, 2515 Wyecroft Road, Oakville ON. Jim Warren, Winemaker & Professor, Niagara College Teaching Winery, and Founder, Stoney Ridge Winery, in his after-dinner remarks will give us an update on the progress and successes of the Niagara College Teaching Winery and what's now, what's new, & what's next in the Ontario wine industry. April 19: Canadian Opera Company's 8th Annual Fine Wine Auction, Crush Wine Bar, 455 King St. W., Toronto ON. This year's auction features something for every collector including a six-year vertical of outstanding White Burgundies from Dauvissat, celebrated 1991 Napa Cabs from Dominus and Silver Oak in magnum, spectacular First Growths from Bordeaux and an incredible array of fantastic wines from around the world. Auctioneer Stephen Ranger, of Ritchie's Auctioneers and Appraisers, returns to lead the live auction, encouraging wine aficionados and fervent collectors to either add to their cellars or start off their collection with some truly exquisite gems. Wine is served at 6 p.m. with a live auction at 7 p.m. Tickets are $35 per person and can be purchased online at www.coc.ca or by calling 416-306-2305.

April 27: Decant, Allan Lambert Galleria at BCE Place, 181 Bay Street, Toronto ON, 7pm to 11pm. Over 150 Consignment and Private Order wines not available at the LCBO. Case lot sales will be facilitated through a participant bar code system which will facilitate delivery and payment in the days following the event. All guests will receive a $35 Riedel tasting glass to keep. Separate VIP area for SommelierService.com members, corporate guests and special invitees.
